Festival lyrique is an international opera competition in Marmande, France, the last week of August, adjudicated by sixteen esteemed judges from opera houses in Europe and North America. Suzanne sang the second Queen of the Night aria and Doll Song, advancing to the semifinals with her "dizzying ability to sing high notes," her fierce Queen, and her outstanding wound-up doll comic gestures.
